This is an original oil painting completed on a triple primed stretched linen canvas support. The painting has been varnished to lock in the colors and protect it and it has been signed and titled on the back to authenticate. As you can tell from my body of work, I do not paint winter scenes too often. Really, not much at all. I have always loved enjoying the warm sunshine and walking to my car without my teeth chattering. For some reason, this painting just happened. When I started painting it, I had a summer scene in mind. Once I started painting it, my whole image in my head flipped on me and this came out. I wrote a blog post awhile ago referring to a persons inner artist and how we need to listen to that inner artist and not be stubborn and do it our way only. I guess I do practice what I preach.
